Frequently Asked Questions

Dog Walking/pet visits

Q: What is your cancellation policy for dog walks and/or pet visits?

A: We kindly ask that you provide 24 hours notice for cancellations. Any cancellation within 24 hours of the requested time of service will be charged 50% of the service price.

Q: What is your policy for weather related cancellations?

A: We do not charge for cancellations due to extreme weather and/or unsafe conditions.

Q: What if the weather is very cold or hot?

A: If necessary, we will shorten your dog's walk and supplement with indoor enrichment. We take into account your dogs breed, age, etc. when deciding what is the safest option in such a situation.

Q: Does my dog have to be walked?

A: No. If you would prefer yard time (common for puppies that are not yet vaccinated), we can accommodate that request.

Q: Will you feed my dog(s) and administer medication during their visit?

A: Yes. If a feeding or medication is needed during a visit, just let us know ahead of time.

pet Sitting

Q: Do you require a deposit to hold dates for pet sitting?

A: Yes. We require a 15% non-refundable deposit for any pet sit that is 3 or more consecutive days.

Q: Will you meet your pet sitter beforehand?

A: Yes. If you and your pet(s) have not yet met the sitter assigned to your pet sit, you will have the opportunity to meet them and discuss your pet's needs.

Q: How long will my pets be alone while you are pet sitting?

A: This answer varies based on the pet sitting option you chose. At a maximum, your pet may be alone for 6 consecutive hours.
